Giggling Gourmet Rise ‘n Dine Busy Cafe
Fun Comes First!™ Start baby's day with a blend of fun breakfast time activities! The Rise 'n Dine Busy Café™ from Bright Starts™ Giggling Gourmet™ Collection will keep baby busy with a blender that lights up while color-changing beads mix and spin! Baby controls the menu with fruit buttons that control the blending color. Press the toast down and when it's done, the roller ball will cause it to pop back up again. Switches slide back and forth for silly sounds and clicking noises. The Rise 'n Dine Busy Cafe will have baby cookin' up some fun at breakfast time or any time!

When we were first coming up with the idea of the Giggling Gourmet line, we looked to actual food in order to come up with color palettes and design features. Furthermore, we decided to combine baby's love of food with evergreen play patterns to create a pretty unique and fun toy line. As a result, Giggling Gourmet ended up having the most consistent visual design language out of all of the toy lines that have since been created at Kids II.

Rise & Dine...
Another iconic baby toy we wanted to include in our Giggling Gourmet product line was the "busy box". These types of toys are basically large items with lots of knobs, buttons, rollers, etc. to keep little hands busy and entertained. In order to tie the concept back into the Gourmet theme, I came up with the idea of turning the toy into a Breakfast Bar. That way, the play patterns would fit nicely with the recognizable objects of a toaster and blender. In addition, each of the fruit characters on the front represents a different color, so as baby makes a "smoothie" they can also learn about colors. Time to rise & shine!
