Great minds start little.™ Babies will enjoy the adorable star toy offering entertaining classical melodies and multiple other engaging toys that encourage playtime discovery. The play mat welcomes baby with a delightful scene featuring a cheerful caterpillar and other Baby Einstein™ friends. The soft electronic star toy features 8 classical melodies and 20 minutes of playing time. As the melodies play lights flash in time with the music to keep baby entertained. The star toy can also be used without the gym, the toy removes easily; to attach to most carriers. Other fun toys include a baby-safe mirror, plush dog chime, frog rattle, leaf-shaped teether and flash cards with real-world imagery. Plus, six additional links are included for adding more of baby’s favorite toys.
A Gym for the Brain...
Play Gyms are one of the first big purchases that most parents make when they initially have a baby. In order for Baby Einstein to enter the category, we needed to set ourselves apart from the competition by relying on our core philosophies of encouraging curiosity through play. As a result, I designed the gym with the basic fundamental of learning shapes. Furthermore, you can find large outlined primary shapes throughout the entire mat and toys. Combined with iconic characters, real-life imagery, and a primary color palette, this gym ended up being one of our best selling products of all time.

Lots of fun interactive toys
When it comes to designing toys for a play gym, the goal is to always create as many unique toys with interactive play patterns as possible. In addition, I always try to include age-appropriate, tried, and true features, such as mirrors, rattles, teethers, and spinners, with every platform.
